Business Development Executive

  • Understand requirements stated in RFP/RFI and stitch together a winning proposal based on inputs from multiple technology and domain teams
  • Engage in qualified sales opportunities to deliver a proposal for opportunities
  • Identify inter-dependencies and create an overall bid project plan with defined tasks, deliverables, and associated timelines and track it to closure.
  • Extensive Solution specific experience for large bids/opportunities.
  • Out of box thinking, creative approach and ability to connect at CXO level are some of the essential attributes.
  • Review requirements & placing the initial bids
  • Maximizing the win rate through appropriate and timely engagement of sales, commercial and subject matter experts in the bid process
  • Manage and coordinate stakeholder relationships with Sales, Marketing and Delivery organizations throughout the bid cycle.
  • Understanding of business requirements and know how to map technology
  • Self-starter with an ability to identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • New business acquisition, responsible for the complete sales lifecycle including prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, due diligence and closing.
  • Generate leads through multiple channels Bidding, Cold emails, outbound calls, job portals, professional networking sites
  • Fix appointments with prospects and convert them.
  • Ensure End to end sales cycle.
  • Ensure KPIs as agreed with the reporting manager are met
  • Achieve revenue goals as agreed with the reporting manager are met.
  • Plan and monitor various matrices as prescribed by the reporting manager.
  • Develop long-term high level relationships with key contacts in assigned accounts.
  • Identify business associates and partners for the company in domestic and international markets.
  • Manage day to day data relating to prospects, opportunities, proposals and orders etc. using formats and tools prescribed by the team.
  • Ensuring that the individual data is also 100% taken care of.
  • Develop long-term high level relationships with key contacts in assigned accounts.

Team Management:  Needs to be a team player with coordinating skills.

Client Management: Taking a step ahead than the usual Account management skills.


Required Skills:

Primary Skills:

Inside Sales Experience, Market Research, Sales and Revenue forecasting, Sales closure, IT Services background, client relationship management.

Previously should have worked in similar companies like Sigma in SMBs and Retailers in India.

Previous experience in selling IT services to companies in globally.

Secondary Skills:  Email etiquette, Excellent English Speaking and written skills, Ability to present Company view point in a professional manner,

Desired Skills: 3-4 years in IT services industry with client handling opportunity. With a minimum of 1.5 year exp. in Software services selling.

Educational Qualifications ,Certifications & Experience :

  • Education BE/B-Tech/MBA
  • Ideal Experience Range: 3-4 years
