Hansen Wholesale offers a variety of home decor from where you can shop for top- quality ceiling fans, gas logs, lighting, fireplace doors and accessories, and gourmet barbecue grills at guaranteed low prices.

Project Brief

Sigma has developed the Magento2 cloud commerce application for Hansen wholesale Magento1 existing site. Sigma has used the core magento tool to do data migration for existing data.

Key business needs and challenges moving over to Magento 2

As all of us are aware that Magento 1 is reaching end of life by June end 2020,
Which means there will not be any support from Magento and the same will be applicable for the extensions used too.
Saying this it will have security concerns if the application is running using an outdated platform.

Apart from this there are many feature enhancements including Search functionality which was needed to take the business to the next level.
Optimizing the hosting solution was another key challenge in the Magento 1 Hosting.

Solutions

Migrated M1 to M2 data: Using Core Magento migration tool migrated attributes, categories, products(1.25L+), customers (2L+) and orders(1L+) data.

Migrated M1 to M2 extensions: We have migrated custom payment extensions from M1 to M2.

We have developed many custom modules to fulfil the business requirement which was there in M1.
We have developed a custom tab based on attribute set and each tab contains a different list of attribute detail based on business requirement.
We have also developed a custom manufacturer module .Ajax Wishlist, Ajax Compare is developed in this project.
We have developed custom inventory sync with third party
vendors.

Each PLP page will have a different filter option and different sort by option.
We have developed a Custom bundle product list to select the bundle item and then customize the bundle product page as per client requirement.
We have converted all sub category pages to landing page with the help of Amasty landing page module.
We have created custom theme based on
client requirement
