The online store was built utilizing the Magento Commerce Cloud starter package but the client was not using all the features of Magento Commerce Cloud.
To cut-down cost associated with unused features of Magento Commerce Cloud platform.

Enhancing the performance of online store was their major concern because they made a lot of customization on starter package Magento Commerce Cloud that affected the website performance adversely.
High cost associated with upgrading to Magento Commerce Cloud pro package was a concern to improve their site performance.

Solutions

Our certified eCommerce subject matter experts evaluated various options like Shopify, Magneto 2.x Open Source, and WooCommerce to meet client’s business needs and after careful consideration suggested them to move from Magento Commerce Cloud to Magento Open Source.

Due to customization, we can’t directly downgrade using composer hence our experts created separate instance in Open Source to facilitate seamless data migration.
We have developed modules and performed integration of Magento extensions to ensure all the key features of Adobe Commerce utilized on the website like Store Credit & Refund, Reward points, Gift Card, GA4, etc. are available for Open Source as well.

We have migrated of all the data from the modules like Customer, Order, Categories, Products, Product Reviews, Store credits & Reward Points, Shopping cart, and CMS.
