The client is a leading Asian grocery store in Ireland, serving as a key destination for Asian food products since 1981. They are one of the largest suppliers of fresh, frozen, dried, and canned goods to the restaurant, catering, and retail industries across Ireland. Their offerings include Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Malaysian, Korean, Filipino, Mediterranean, and Western food ingredients, along with kitchen and household utensils — all at competitive prices. They also provide delivery services throughout Ireland to the restaurant and catering trade.
Project Brief
Sigma collaborated with the Client team to upgrade their Magento platform from version 2.3.5 to 2.4.7. The project also involved switching to a new theme, migrating data, and ensuring all custom modules were upgraded and compatible with the new Magento version. The upgrade covered 10 Magento version releases and 35 patches.
